What an experience, to relax in these stunning surrounds.

As per my review of the Savoy Hotel (separate review), we were very impressed with the friendliness and willingness of all staff to engage with us, whether in explaining the hotel’s history, the bar’s redesign, the care that had gone into the cocktail menu creation, or just passing the time of day. We were up front about the fact that we had literally walked in off the street to look around, and were warmly invited to sit down, enjoy the surrounds (and complementary nibbles), and only order if we wanted to. This was an experience to savour. My husband enjoyed one of their “Seal of Approval” cocktails and we both thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there. Yes, the drinks are pricey, but the absolutely impeccable service and beautiful environment made it money well spent.
